Job Title: Tapper
Location: Kurnool

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cast house area and Runner ready in every casting in proper time to time Removing the all jams and debris from cast house to maintain the safe operation.
• Operation, Cleaning, checking, inspection of cast house operation tools.
• Ensure tap hole cantering, Housekeeping as regularly with safety precautions in every shift.
• Ensuring the mud gun and drill m/c cleanliness of mud gun nozzle and barrel before each casting.
• Maintain the cast house consumable ready for each casting.
• Should be capable of handling in cold/ hot liquid at abnormal furnace. Removing and replacing of Tuyere and T.C Knowledge in launching Operation in taphole, skimmer, ladle Jam and Tuyere.
• Cleaning and prepare the pouring runner in time to time to clear the hot metal ladies. Cleaning the spillage metal in the pcm bottom trolley and make ready for next ladle pouring in the available time.
