Ingredient Preparation:
Properly marinate meats and vegetables according to recipes, ensuring flavors are well-balanced and spices are accurately measured.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in all tandoor dishes, monitoring doneness and appearance before serving.
Section Management:
Oversee the tandoor section, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment usage, and efficient workflow.
Inventory Control:
Monitor and manage inventory of tandoor ingredients, promptly reporting any shortages to the Sous Chef.
Recipe Adherence:
Strictly follow established recipes and cooking techniques as outlined by the Executive Chef.
Training and Supervision:
May train and guide junior chefs or commis on proper tandoor cooking techniques.
Communication:
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
