Profile: Tandoori Chef (commis 1)

Salary: Up to 18k plus service charge

Location: Dwarka sec 13

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook tandoori dishes according to standardized recipes and specific instructions from the Head Chef.
• Marinate meats and vegetables for tandoori cooking, ensuring proper seasoning and flavour infusion.
• Operate and maintain tandoori ovens and other equipment used in tandoori cooking, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the Head Chef or Sous Chef regarding inventory needs.
• Assist in the development of new tandoori recipes and menu items.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tandoori Chef (Commis 1) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, particularly in tandoori cooking techniques. As a Tandoori Chef (Commis 1), you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of tandoori dishes, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality are consistently met.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in an Indian restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Indian cuisine, particularly tandoori cooking techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
