Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Indian cuisine, with a specialization in Tandoor cooking.

Responsibilities:

• Mastery in the art of Tandoor cooking, including preparation, marination, and grilling of various meats, seafood, and vegetarian items.
• Ensure that all Tandoor dishes meet the restaurant's quality standards and are consistently prepared.
• Prepare and marinate meats, vegetables, and other ingredients for Tandoor cooking.
• Adhere to recipes and portion control to maintain food quality and minimize waste.
• Monitor and maintain the freshness and quality of ingredients used in the Tandoor section.
• Conduct regular taste tests to ensure the flavor profile of Tandoor dishes meets expectations.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to coordinate and streamline overall kitchen operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Maintain a clean and organized Tandoor section, following all sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Responsible for the proper cleaning and maintenance of Tandoor equipment.
• Train junior kitchen staff in Tandoor cooking techniques and safety protocols.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and continuously enhance Tandoor cooking skills.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or Tandoor Chef de Partie.
• In-depth knowledge of Tandoor cooking techniques and Indian cuisine.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
