Job Description

Job Role:

To teach Tamil language and literature effectively to students from grades 4 to 10, catering to different educational boards (CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, State Board, etc.) through both in-person and online sessions. The teacher is expected to follow the academic plan, assess student progress, and actively contribute to their language development.

Key Responsibilities:Classroom Responsibilities (Offline & Online):

Deliver structured and engaging Tamil lessons as per the syllabus. Customize teaching methods based on the board, grade level, and student learning style. Use audio-visual tools, storytelling, and grammar exercises to enhance learning. Encourage students to speak, read, and write Tamil confidently. Conduct grammar, reading comprehension, and essay writing practice regularly. Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.

Preparation & Curriculum:

Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in alignment with Aasha Academia's academic planner. Follow the syllabus plan shared by the Academic Head. Create notes, question banks, and revision materials. Submit and upload learning materials to the LMS (if applicable).

Student Monitoring & Assessments:

Conduct weekly assessments and share feedback with students. Analyze student performance and update progress trackers. Identify weak areas and provide remedial classes or re-assessments. Encourage creative writing, poetry recitation, and reading for fluency.

Communication & Reporting:

Communicate effectively with the Academic Coordinator and report absenteeism or concerns. Be available on time for every class (5 minutes before scheduled time). Update the attendance and tracker sheets daily. Keep communication active in WhatsApp groups for updates and scheduling. Notify well in advance in case of leave (avoid last-minute cancellations).

Wear Aasha Academia T-shirt during offline classes. Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm in both physical and virtual classrooms.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?10,000.00 per month
