Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable

Tally Instructor

to join PokketCFO. The ideal candidate will be a Tally expert with a deep understanding of the software's features, functionalities, and applications in accounting. This role involves mentoring our accounting team, resolving daily Tally-related queries, and ensuring seamless use of Tally to meet client deliverables. The Tally Faculty will play a critical role in upskilling our accountants, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Tally Expertise & Mentorship

Provide in-depth guidance and training to accountants on Tally software (including TallyPrime, Tally.ERP 9, or other relevant versions). Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team on advanced Tally features such as GST compliance, inventory management, payroll, and financial reporting. Mentor accountants to improve their proficiency in using Tally for day-to-day accounting tasks.

Query Resolution & Support

Act as the primary point of contact for all Tally-related queries and concerns raised by the accounting team. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues in Tally, ensuring minimal disruption to client deliverables. Assist in configuring Tally settings to align with PokketCFO's workflows and client-specific requirements.

Process Optimization

Review and enhance the team's use of Tally to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes. Ensure proper implementation of Tally features like multi-ledger accounting, bank reconciliation, and tax computations. Collaborate with the leadership team to standardize Tally-based workflows across client projects.

Quality Assurance

Monitor the team's Tally entries and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and client expectations. Identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in Tally data, providing corrective guidance to the team.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Tally software in an accounting or training capacity. Proven experience in mentoring or training teams on Tally or similar accounting software

Certifications:

Tally certification is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills:

Expert-level proficiency in TallyPrime and/or Tally.ERP 9, including advanced modules (GST, inventory, payroll, etc.). Strong understanding of accounting principles and their application in Tally. Familiarity with troubleshooting Tally software issues (e.g., data migration, synchronization, customization).

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and teaching skills to explain complex concepts in a simple manner. Patience and ability to mentor team members with varying levels of Tally expertise. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Other Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standard
Preferred Attributes

Knowledge of other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books) is a plus but not mandatory. Understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and their integration with Tally

Documentation & Updates

Maintain documentation of common Tally issues, solutions, and best practices for team reference. Stay updated on the latest Tally software updates, features, and compliance requirements (e.g., GST, TDS) and train the team accordingly.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
