Job description
The Computer and Tally Faculty member will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in computer applications and Tally software. This role involves preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and assessing student performance. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teaching and Instruction:
• Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on computer applications, including basic and advanced computer skills.
• Teach Tally software, including modules related to accounting, inventory management, payroll, and taxation.
• Develop and update curriculum materials and course content.
• Create and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress.
• Curriculum Development:
• Design and enhance course syllabi to ensure alignment with industry standards and technological advancements.
• Integrate real-world examples and case studies into teaching materials to enrich the learning experience.
• Student Support:
• Provide academic advising and support to students, including assistance with coursework and career guidance.
• Facilitate practical exercises and hands-on sessions to reinforce learning.
• Administration:
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in computer technology and accounting software.
• Attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in teaching computer applications and Tally software, preferably in an academic or training environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally software (Tally Prime ) and other relevant computer applications. Familiarity with MS Office Suite and other educational technology tools.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications related to Tally software or advanced computing.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and tools.
Work Conditions:
• This position may require flexibility in working hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on class schedules and student needs.
• Occasional travel may be required for workshops or professional development events.
