Employee Life Cycle Event (ELE) Statutory/Regulatory Compliance \xe2\x80\x94Manager

Work you\xe2\x80\x99ll do As an ELE professional, you will collaborate with different teams, interact very closely with multiples cross functional stakeholders/ business partners on Statutory Compliance requirements and issues and executing the same. You would manage a robust compliance process with a cross functional working group at PAN India level. Additionally, your roll would demand identification, applicability and execution of all laws more specifically Labour law/ Employment Compliances under different laws as applicable to Deloitte at PAN India level. Provide regular and timely feedback to management; be proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may have an impact on the Company.
Your other responsibilities will include:
Must have operational knowledge of all laws applicable as a part of Statutory Compliances (under State and Central Acts). Extensive understanding of Labor Law Compliance, policies, procedures and practices. In-depth knowledge of all Labour/Employment, Contractor/ Vendor Management and commercial/corporate laws.
Must have experience on conducting and closing Vendor Audit (End to End) and Performance of regular self-audits on the processes to ensure all compliance requirements are maintained. Highly skilled in managing End to End requirement of different types of Employment.
Must have experience in maintenance of statutory records under different Acts as applicable at PAN India level on monthly basis.
Ensure completion of all registration/ amendments and filing of all returns/ documents under different Acts with the various regulatory authorities
Ability to manage a variety of regulatory compliance, litigation, contracts, labour related legal issues, with varying levels of complexity to successful completion. Candidate should be experienced in representing to various Government authorities.
Partner closely with Operations, legal, HR, Vendor management team, Real Estate, clients, vendors, procurement and senior leadership and other internal clients in handling compliance process
Monitors compliances, Track, Report and maintain Compliance Dashboard
\xe2\x80\xa2 High disposition of maintaining confidential data, handling sensitive matters and \xe2\x80\xa2 Good organization and planning skills.
Communication\xe2\x80\x94 Excellent written, verbal analytical and communications skills required. Excellent drafting skills for corporate compliance and legal documentation. Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex issues.
Should perform routine legal/statutory work independently with little direct supervision. Ability to multi-task on a regular basis and handle number of matters simultaneously
Must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications
LLB or Masters/Equivalent Degree in Labour / Employment matters & compliance with operational experience in handling PAN India Statutory/ Regulatory compliance / Employment laws, vendor audit etc (HR, Legal, Finance) role or business process for more than 9-12 years in HR Compliance Firm (in operations).
Required
9-12 years of professional experience with minimum of 5 years\' operational experience in Labour Law Compliance, Audit / client management role in renowned MNC\xe2\x80\x99s or legal/HR Compliance Firm or Business house.
Clear Understanding of all the Central and State laws applicability and execution at PAN India level
Experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements including advisory role.
Experienced to deal with requirements which are sudden, flexibility to quickly turn around things and help create a controlled environment
Good drafting and liasioning skills with matters related to regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
Preferred
LLB with good exposure to Labour and Employment Laws and Compliance at PAN India level.
Experience in working on Compliance tool and other cloud based applications like SAP HR, Taleo, Success Factor, or other applications in HR/Talent
Experience working in HRSS department of a multinational company
Relevant experience in business process reengineering, work body transitions, and quality controls
