Job Description



  • Provide assistance in all the areas of the Human Resources department & ensure to record employee data and furnish reports.
  • Facilitate interview scheduling and support of recruiting process, tracking and reporting employee information, Payroll support, compliance and record keeping, compensation & benefits and New Hire support and processing, as well as providing general administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences should be brought to the attention of the Management.
  • Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all the employees.
  • Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department\'s objectives and policies.
  • Assist in the areas of employment, affirmative action, salary and benefits administration, employee events, or employee communications.
  • Supervise hiring process by posting/advertising positions, collecting and evaluating applications, checking references, interviewing candidates with supervisors, hiring applicants
  • Develop and administer employee performance evaluation program, assisting supervisors with implementation.
  • Plan, coordinate and administer compensation and benefits programs.
