There\'s never been a better time to join Smiths.As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you support the strategic recruitment direction and governance for the APAC and MEA region. Ensure that the managers supported have the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their strategy. The Talent Acquisition team will work together to provide the business with the highest quality talent, within the right timescales and at the right cost. The Talent Acquisition Manager will hold full accountabilities for all stages of the hiring process, from attraction to onboarding whilst ensuring the candidates have a quality experience throughout every step.Location can be either Pune or Bangalore.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

  • Recruitment and onboarding of TA Partners
  • Performance management of a team of Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Responsible for workload allocation and balancing of the team to ensure efficiency of delivery
  • Coordination with India team to ensure right balance of workload between teams
  • Roll out proposed SLAs, monitor and report
  • Act as an escalation point for managers and recruiters when there are challenges with requisitions and sourcing
  • Intervene proactively to influence decisions in hiring processes for the successful outcome of company e.g. aged requisitions
  • Chair ongoing requisition review calls with key senior stakeholders to summarize top level progress of the team
  • Manage a requisition recruitment workload appropriate to the needs of the team as deemed suitable by the individual
  • Responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle for all personally assigned requisitions from requirements definition, sourcing, selection through to on boarding and keep in touch
  • Creation of job aids and guides to ensure transparent and consistent processes
  • Coach, challenge and advise Hiring Managers using recruitment and market data to inform and influence local and key hiring decisions
  • Accountable to Oversee reporting and analytics outputs from the TA coordinator(s) - looking at trends and identifying potential improvements to be articulated to key stakeholders
  • Manage all channels to the active candidate market including employee referral, e-sourcing, on and offline advertising, events and agencies
  • Some vendor management is required in this role - e.g., Job Boards (LinkedIn, Indeed) and Agencies
  • Responsible for Early careers recruiting and partnerships with collages
  • Drive employer branding activities locally
The IndividualSkills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication - ability to articulate complex information in a simplifies manor in order to gain buy in from senior stakeholders
  • Ability to be clear, concise and professional in delivery of messaging during calls and presentations
  • Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization up to senior levels, and to develop valued relationships with managers and Candidates alike
  • Able to manage stakeholder relationships proactively for the positive outcome of team and company
  • Proven TA experience within a complex environment
  • Experience in the engineering and Technology skills market
