Talent Acquisiton and L&D Specialist

Purpose of the role:


Initiate, nurture, and leverage strong relationships with Business Leaders and HR business partners in order to understand the short- and long-term needs of the business and their relative priority on matters related to talent acquisition and talent management

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Talent Acquisition: •

• Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position.
• Align with Group recruitment policy and standards to ensure best practices are applied for attracting and selecting candidates.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
• Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants.
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
• Clear understanding of company Policies and local regulations.
• Co-ordinate with all functions and Work seamlessly.

•Learning & Development: •

• Actively contribute to the implementation of learning curriculum/training calendar and development initiatives that are aligned with current and forward-looking organizational needs, employee development plans and individual line of business objectives
• Provide advice and local context regarding key programs including engagement, career development, Inclusion and Diversity and Well-being.
• Keep abreast of talent management best practices, determine where it would benefit employees and people leaders to recommend certain best practices and oversee their adoption.
• Manage local vendor relationships and service level agreements in support of talent management programs.

Required education, experience, knowledge:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
• Previous work experience in Recruitment Firms/ Industrial/ Engineering / Manufacturing companies.
• 4 to 6 years of works experience in Recruitment, Learning & Development
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and local language as needed.
• Candidates having prior work experience in MNC's preferrable.

Required skills & expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants.
• Ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and profiles.
• Perseverance, ability to take pressure and meet datelines.
• Team player with good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
