Role Overview:



The Acting Technical Director for Table Tennis will oversee and develop the technical and operational aspects of the table tennis program for both kids and adults. This role will involve designing a holistic training curriculum, facilitating coach training, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful product-market fit and a smooth launch. The Technical Director will pilot test sessions, assess program effectiveness, and ensure high-quality standards in training delivery.

1. Curriculum Development & Session Design

Adult and Kids Curriculum:

Develop a structured curriculum tailored for both adults and kids, covering skill levels from beginner to advanced.

Session Design:

Outline trial sessions, regular training modules, and assessment sessions with clear objectives, skill progression, and engagement strategies. ?

Pilot Testing:

Conduct pilot sessions to evaluate product-market fit, gathering participant feedback and refining content as needed.

2. Coach Training & Assessment

?

Training Plan Development:

Create a comprehensive training plan for table tennis coaches, covering session delivery, curriculum adherence, and student engagement techniques.

Training Delivery:

Lead training sessions for coaches, including role-playing, feedback loops, and demonstration of key techniques.

Assessment:

Conduct written, oral, and practical assessments to evaluate coach readiness post-training.

3. Program success

? Feedback Action:

Work on feedback received from customer and address any customer concerns

? Measure Coach Performance:

Review rating of coaches and implement retraining/performance improvement plans to achieve the required quality rating ? Trail Conversion: Work to maximize trial conversions by tweaking training, program and curriculum.

4. Marketing & Branding Collaboration

Promotional Shoots:

Coordinate and plan shoots that highlight the table tennis program for promotional content.

?

Launch Strategy:

Contribute to the strategic launch plan to ensure effective program visibility and engagement with the target market.

5. Product & Technology Integration

?

Tech Collaboration:

Work with the product, tech, and engineering teams on the integration of tech solutions for session management, curriculum tracking, and customer feedback.

6. Human Resources Collaboration

?

Talent Recruitment:

Collaborate with HR to identify, interview, and hire qualified table tennis coaches and support staff.

?

Hiring Standards:

Define the desired skill set and experience level for potential hires and develop a recruiting strategy with HR to attract top talent.

7. Equipment Setup

Equipment Setup:

Oversee the setup of tables, and additional training equipment, ensuring a high standard of readiness and functionality at each facility.
8. Coach Scheduling & Operational Oversight

Coach Availability:

Work with scheduling team to roster coaching staff ensure coach availability for 100% class fulfillment.

Day-to-Day Operations:

Ensure smooth daily operations by resolving scheduling conflicts, addressing equipment needs, and maintaining communication between coaches and operational staff.

1. Curriculum Development & Session Design

? Develop and finalize a comprehensive table tennis curriculum for both adults and kids within the first month.

? Successfully conduct and analyze at least one pilot session per age group to gather feedback and refine the program.

2. Coach Training & Assessment

? Create and execute a structured training program for coaches, ensuring 100% participation and completion within the designated timeframe.

? Achieve an 80% pass rate in written, oral, and practical assessments for all trained coaches.

? Maintain a training feedback score of at least 4.5/5 from coaches regarding training quality and preparedness.

3. Program success

? Ensure rating above 3.8/4

? 85% utilization of all coaching batches

? 95% trial to pack conversion

4. Marketing & Branding Collaboration

? Provide detailed program information and work with the marketing team to publish promotional content prior to launch.

? Provide technical inputs and oversee promotional shoots, ensuring brand standards and quality output, within the first two months.

4. Product & Technology Integration

? Partner with product and tech teams to identify and implement at least two key tech features (e.g., session tracking, feedback capture) before launch.

? Ensure 100% adoption of tech solutions by coaches and support staff within the first month of implementation.

? Reduce coach and participant onboarding time by at least 20% through tech and product improvements within six months.

5. Human Resources Collaboration

? Develop and implement a talent acquisition plan with HR, leading to the recruitment of skilled coaches and support staff by launch.

? Ensure all hires meet a minimum benchmark of 90% satisfaction in initial performance reviews.

? Achieve a coach retention rate of 90% or higher within the first year post-hiring. 6. Facility and Equipment Setup

? Work with business development to finalize facilities, with 100% readiness in terms of setup and equipment availability by launch date.

? Maintain an equipment functionality rate of 95% or higher, ensuring timely replacement or repairs as needed.

? Ensure all facilities meet safety and quality standards, with zero critical safety incidents reported.

7. Coach Scheduling & Operational Oversight

? Develop a scheduling system that ensures 95% adherence to coach schedules without conflicts or missed sessions.

? Maintain an operational satisfaction score of at least 4.5/5 from coaches and support staff regarding scheduling, facility, and equipment arrangements.

? Conduct monthly reviews of operational processes to identify and implement at least two areas for continuous improvement.

Overall Performance Metrics:

? Customer Satisfaction: Achieve a minimum satisfaction score of 3.8/4 from participants in both trial and regular sessions.

? Revenue Growth: Contribute to at least a 20% increase in program enrollments within the first six months of launch.

? Retention Rate: Attain a 90% retention rate for participants progressing from trial to regular sessions within the first year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
