As a Systems Monitoring Engineer you will be viewed as an expert on monitoring the health of our application systems infrastructure - going beyond simply CPU and memory to the health of the applications hosted on these systems. Your work on our monitoring stack will run across our global data centers running a fleet of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. You will participate in and at times lead efforts to standardize and automate our monitoring stack - standardizing deployment scripts and methods; automating monitoring creation via infrastructure-as-code approaches; streamlining the signal-to-noise ratio via optimization to make alerts more actionable and relevant for our infrastructure and support teams. All of this and being able to participate in our high-growth journey as we launch brand new data centers across the globe as well as in AWS!!Job Summary:As a Systems Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for developing platforms, infrastructure, and tools to support the Systems Monitoring of Intelerad\xe2\x80\x99s Infrastructure and Applications. This role will be expected to support US Eastern Time Zone, 9am-5pm EST.The SRE team is a blend of pragmatic operators and software craftspeople that apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our environments. We specialize in systems covering operating systems, storage, networking, VMware, databases, monitoring, and performance.The Systems Monitoring Team is responsible for the monitoring infrastructure and the Monitoring Strategy for all Intelerad systems and applications.
