• Scala
• Linux
• Git
• Elastic search
• Hadoop
• Spark
• Bin/ Bash
• Ansible
• Experience of Agile and Test Driven Development
• Exposure across the Big Data landscape with practical experience of products and toolsets
• Understanding of SOA & high-level IT architecture
• Knowledge of focal entity resolution

key responsibilities

• Analysing data sets and designing and coding stable and scalable data ingestion workflows and integrating into existing workflows
• Working with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide the appropriate solution
• Configuring updates to the UI in line with requirements
• Coding in line with agreed standards
• Unit Testing
• Working closely with the Programme Manager and the Programme leads to deliver change in line with Technology strategy
