What does the EA IT Secure Identity Platform Team do?

Our team, the Secure Identity Platform group is a new central technology team that is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Enterprise Identity systems that help with Enterprise Single Sign-on, Access Management, Mail & Calendar and maintenance of Mission Critical IT Infrastructure. Our goal is to deliver scalable solutions for unphishable authentication across all EA applications, Simplified access management and Secure email communication.

What will you be doing?

This role is for a systems engineer who loves the challenge of engineering and maintaining critical Mail and Calendar services using Microsoft 365 suite of applications that serves the entire company. You will be responsible for working with security stakeholders to understand evolving security requirements around Mail and Calendar and implement them in the most maintainable fashion. You will also work on migrating emails, calendars, One drive & SharePoint data , Microsoft Active Directory, as part of EA\xe2\x80\x99s mergers and acquisitions involving Active Directory users, computers, server migrations, and Microsoft 365 tenants.

You will be responsible for documenting the technical specifications, implementing automation where it can deliver efficiency, defect-free automation scripts through the development of unit and integration tests, and leverage the use of continuous integration systems. You should be familiar with working in an Agile/Scrum model in a modern DevOps organization.

You must ensure stellar product quality by adhering to established security best practices and standards. You should also be updated with the changes and roadmap of Microsoft 365 suite of products and Azure AD services.

You will be interacting with product managers, project managers, Operations teams, Security Architects, quality engineers and infrastructure engineers across the US and other geographies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on security, user experience, and architectural design.
• Provide overall Microsoft 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure Information Protection, Information Rights Management, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication, and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
• Lead and participate in ongoing Microsoft 365 security and strategy discussions.
• Stay current on all things Microsoft 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
• Document system configurations, standards, and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration
• Experience with Active directory migration between AD forests.
• Provide L3 support

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory & Microsoft 365 tenant migration using Quest and Microsoft tools.
• 5 years minimum of progressive experience in technical solutions development using Microsoft platforms with extensive experience in design, architecture, and deployment of messaging solutions.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the below areas:

• Exchange Online, Exchange 2013/2016/2019
• SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013
• eDiscovery & Intune (Conditional Access \\ MDM \\ MAM)
• Clients (Outlook, Outlook for MAC, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices)
• OneDrive for Business
• Data Loss Prevention, Archiving, eDiscovery, and Compliance
• Azure threat protection, Conditional Access
• Hands-on experience with sync engines such as Azure AD Connect.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to assist with the migration discovery process.
• Knowledge of federation and SSO using Okta and Azure.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services (Hybrid Azure AD, Azure Conditional Access, Azure AD join, Azure AD domain services, Azure VDI etc.)
• Experience applying technical security standards to Microsoft 365, active directory, windows servers, and workstations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document efforts and processes consistently and to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in distributed, network, and systems programming in Linux or macOS environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
• Self-starter with an eagerness to constantly learn and pass/share the knowledge along to the team.
• Strong sense of ownership/\xe2\x80\x98can do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude and high attention to detail
• Ability to dive into difficult problems and deliver results on time and on spec
• Demonstrate a high level of creativity and problem solving
