Job Responsibilities: Responsible for providing remote support in resolving customer issues when problems have been identified and the first line support has failed to identify or fix these issues Responsible for monitoring and maintaining an organization\'s backup and storage systems. Prepares summary reports for tickets and system health Identifies prospects to make improvements in the managed areas and related landscape. Implements technical initiatives and process improvements Operates with the Project Managers to deliver business projects. Contributes technically to arrive at new solutions Setup new Storage devices implements new technologies etc. Contributes to \'risks and issues\' log and formulates SIPs. Implements SIPs to mitigate the risks & issues Collaborates with team members to influence and ensure that support is operating efficiently. Coordinates & works with vendor to provide break-fix. Analyses the incident to arrive at RCA and prevent recurrence Creates documentation for Infrastructure Changes Process maps System diagrams RCA etc. Performs enterprise-wide capacity planning and maintenance planning in the area of support Capable of accepting additional responsibilities in the line of duty & ready to travel when required Qualifications Minimum of 8+ years of experience as backup admin and experience in handling L3 tickets Experience in all aspects of VEEAM Spectrum and Networker Backup Tools including Installation/Configuration/Administration/troubleshooting and best practices Experience on VEEAM (VEEAM One Backup Enterprise Manager) Experience on Spectrum Experience on Networker Experience on VEEAM/Spectrum/ Networker Performance and Tuning Strong troubleshooting skills on client backup failures tape alerts media management device & client configurations Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking and SAN. Familiarity with enterprise monitoring systems & ticketing systems Strong verbal and written communication skills and multi-tasking skills Familiarity with EMC Data Domain is required.
