: Job Title Systems Engineer - Linux/UNIX and Cloud This position will be responsible for managing incidents, changes and problems on Linux/UNIX and Cloud Infrastructure and to automate everything possible using Python, Ansible, Shell scripting The Purpose of This Role To ensure customer support, on call support, cross site coordination and troubleshooting. This position is to handle L1/L2 level of support for Linux and OpenStack environment. The Value You Deliver To perform this job, an individual must meet the following criteria: Analyze and implement Linux/UNIX and OpenStack technologies Install, configure, document, maintain and enhance a large multi-site production Linux/UNIX Server Environment. Support Linux/UNIX Servers and Private Cloud processes and procedures Optimize monitoring and reporting processes Identifies and addresses security risks Participates in on-call support program Works with customers, vendors and other Fidelity teams to resolve Linux/UNIX Server or Cloud outages/issues in a timely fashion The Skills that are Key to this role Technical / Behavioral Strong troubleshooting skills Scripting & coding skills Passionate for learning cross technical skills Demonstrate self-motivation to achieve a successful outcome in a highly dynamic environment Excellent track record of fostering innovation and \'thinking out of the box\'. The Expertise We\'re Looking For Must have extensive experience the following tools/technologies: RHEL 6, 7, 8 OpenStack Good to have experience VMware 6.x & 7.x Intel enterprise server level hardware (HP/Compaq/IBM/Dell preferred) VCS/RHCS clustering technology Good knowledge of Python, Ansible and Bash Scripting Virtualization technologies, preferred knowledge on VMware ESX servers Good Interpersonal skills Good Communication skills, both written and verbal Graduate Certification in RedHat / OpenStack Qualifications Preferred Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent 3+ years of IT experience Location : Chennai Shift timings : 16 x 7 Certifications: Fidelity Investments is an equal opportunity employer.
