About the team and role:

The End User Computing Senior System Engineer role reports into the Director - Workspace Technology and Tools and is responsible for the end-user facing set of services and forms part of the onsite management team. The role is focused on delivering the onsite desktop managed service outcomes including Managing End points via tools such JAMF, VmWare Workspace One and providing support via Tech-lounge, ticketing system, emails, and Slack channels and is responsible for customer engagement, reporting escalations, and proactive continuous improvement.

The infrastructure environment is diverse in nature with a distribution of MAC, Windows and Linux endpoints and multiple applications from various third-party vendors and open source. The role is based full-time at the Rubrik India Pvt. Ltd Bangalore Office.

This role will be working in rotational shifts.

What you\'ll do:

• Manage a diverse endpoint environment of MAC, Windows and Linux machines, 3000+ nodes globally through a MDM solution such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune or Vmware Workspace One
• Knowledge of developing and executing engineering scripts to automate complex operational tasks on languages like Python, Bash, Powershell, JScript, etc.
• Automate Runs or Playbooks as per the requirements of the platform. Ability to build workflows using tools
• Provide L2 and L3 support for End User tickets related to Endpoint issues
• Managing escalations (1st Level), Track and Manage workloads of the team & Conflict resolution
• Maintaining an Asset Database and track changes
• Administration of GSuite, Office 365, Slack applications
• Optimization of all processes among Desktop Management (Mac and PC), Mobile Management, and Virtual platforms
• Develop software distribution packages for deployment via a platform management tool
• Ability to document the process and technical specifications with words and appropriate diagrammatic formats.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement the electronic software distribution processes, procedures, and infrastructure

Experience You\'ll Need:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Engineering
• 5-9 years experience with MDM / EPE solutions like JAMF, Microsoft Intune or Vmware Workspace One
• 5+ years of relevant MAC technical support and customer interaction experience
• Must be open to working in rotational shifts
• Strong knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MAC OS, Apple laptops & mobile devices
• Hands-on Experience with at least one of the Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune, LANDesk, Workspace one, etc.. that are used for MAC platform.
• Advanced knowledge of MDM Management, Scripting skills, and MAC administration
• Ability to provide technical mentorship to the L1 & L2 team. Drive Process ownership, Process adherence, and SLA adherence
• ServiceNow or Jira ticketing tool experience, familiarity with a support ticket and knowledge-based systems
• Experience in a working environment based on ITIL standards or Knowledge of ITIL best practices
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Must possess outstanding communications skills
• Experience and demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and customer service techniques
• Working knowledge of Mac OS, Windows OS & Linux
• PowerPoint/Google Slides, Documentation skills & Excel/Google Sheets experience
• Broad knowledge of networking concepts
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Strong ability to diagnose, report, troubleshoot, obtain results, and provide solutions for a broad range of technical problems
