The successful candidate will design and have oversight of Micro-Data Center (MDC) and Edge products, with emphasis on the electronics, switchgear, cooling methods and third party products. (S)he must have a good working knowledge of AC/DC circuits, single & 3-phase (600V or less) power systems, and communications concepts (100/1000baseT networks, RS232, CAN, USB).FQualificationsWe know skills and competencies show up in many different ways and can be based on your life experience. • BSEE and 10 years experience
• Excellent verbal / writing skills
• Manage time, priorities, self-guided
• Embraces electrical & mechanical safety, a global company culture
• Hands-on with: circuits, wiring, assembly, testing, and handling of products (rack-sized to tabletop-sized)
• Proficient knowledge of 3 phase power
• WW compliance (EMC, safety) & electrical systems (LV 3 phase)
• Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Creo
• Working knowledge of typical engineering gear (multimeter, o-scope)
