JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY



We're a fast-growing SaaS organization and seeking top talent with experience in a multi cloud environment; Azure, Google Cloud, MongoDB Atlas. You'll be on the cutting edge of technology as it relates to cloud IT architecture, networking and systems engineering. This entails working closely with Development and DevOps teams to support Product roadmap initiatives revolutionizing the automotive industry. Simultaneously, you'll be conducting POCs for business application solutions and designing systems infrastructure utilizing a zero-trust cloud strategy with scale and growth in mind. Our core principles include security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. You'll develop a well-rounded experience leveraging an assorted skillsets while being tasked with conducting analysis which will influence critical business decisions focused on new projects, products and GTM strategies.

Successful Systems Administrator will:

Have highly developed skills designing and implementing optimal configurations for hosted Cloud application platforms including server, database access, network access and interfaces (Azure, Google Cloud)



Demonstrate strong technical skills in a PaaS environment, specifically Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud and administration



Manage security policies best practices; Perform Risk Assessments, Pen tests, InfoSec Incident Response



Manage hybrid AD/AAD environment with Security Groups, OUs, GPO, User Objects Attributes



Configure and maintain production systems and application services within 99%+ availability - including web servers and VPN access (Microsoft Endpoint Manager, JAMF, OpenVPN, AlwaysOn)



Strong OS deployment experience with a focus on Windows 11 and understanding system dependencies



Administrate hosted mail delivery services with a focus on security (O365)



Maintain documentation including diagrams for application servers and associated devices (Multi Site/Site)



Modify the infrastructure architecture configuration as needed to support changes to product development



Provide support as needed for new and upgraded software and hardware implementations



Configure systems for disaster recovery and failover data centers; design, implement and test failover



Facilitate and contribute to SOC audits with security remediation in line with best practices



Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements



Review and perform security application patching and maintenance as required



Perform troubleshooting, problem analysis, incident resolution and system tuning - becoming the technical expert in environmentally critical applications and services (PaaS)



Monitor systems, network components and service applications with any P1-P5 system outages



Light Desktop Support responsibilities related to user equipment deployment



Embracing company initiatives and deliverables with continuous enhancements to performance and security



Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 10 years working experience in providing support of IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all cloud/client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.



B.S. in computer science or related field preferred



Proficiency with administering operating systems in a physical and virtual environment



Microsoft certifications (Azure, Google, MCSA, MCITP, MCSE) are a strong plus



Exceptional understanding of storage, network, and hardware technologies.



Excellent attention to detail and proven strong analytical skills



Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to users in a non-technical manner
