Role & Job description:Functional Safety & OBD System Tester:
System Test:
Is responsible for the execution of System/Subsystem tests according to system test specifications (including test result documentation, test incidence reporting)
on System Level, this includes the System Performance Tests (against requirements), the System Robustness Tests and the System Durability Tests
for Subsystems, this includes the Function Capability Tests, the Subsystem Performance Tests (against requirements), the Subsystem Robustness Tests and the Subsystem Durability Tests
Execution of tests on target systems like vehicle, dyno, HIL and SW test benches
Working in a multinational and multi-disciplined environment for Engine Control Units in the Automotive domain.
Initialization of the system test concept
Planning, coordination and monitoring of all system test activities according to the system test strategy
Participation of project meetings with clear status communication
Experience: 2-4 years in automotive domain with minimum 1 year experience in requirements and software testing on vehicle and/or HILSkills and background: Behavioral:

Stakeholder management
Needs to understand the fundamentals of Functional Safety engineering, relevant safety engineering standards, OBD and more importantly understand the concepts
Technical:
Experience in test design and test automation for safety and OBD system and subsystem testing.
Languages : Embedded C, Python scripting
Tools : INCA, CRETA, MATLAB, CANanalyzer, DiagRA,
Management / Tools : SDLC, IMS
Level 2 : Functional safety software, Torque, Speed and Communication monitoring, Processor Monitoring and Diagnostics overview
Experience in requirement analysis and management process
Experienced in automotive systems, sub-system and electronics architecture
Knowledge of on Vehicle & Hardware-In-Loop testing is desirable
Familiarity with
Requirement management tools like DOORS is preferable
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
