The solutions vary from simple zapper STB to a complex Android hybrid STB and OTT solution features as per the current and future market needs. The role works closely with the customer specific delivery team including Solution Architects, Program & Project managers, Product managers, Product Owners and Integration manager to ensure the quality delivery of Irdeto solutions is as per the customer requirements. In this role \xe2\x80\x9cTest Manager\xe2\x80\x9d also closely works with the Customers, Engineering teams, Product test teams and test automation team to understand the specific focus areas and accordingly define the testing strategy for the project deliverables.The Test Manager is a key member of delivery team and needs to take a proactive role to understand any customer related requirement/issues and then providing a satisfactory response back. This is a customer facing role closely working with 3rd parties like chipset vendors, STB vendors, application developers and system integrators to understand overall quality issues and hence provide a solution to customer\'s satisfaction.As part of the job the role may have to travel (within India and abroad) for interactions with customer, 3rd parties and component engineering teams. Test Manager should have a good understanding of STB architecture, Android TV solution, DTH/OTT network components & test processes and automation.Test Manager is responsible for defining and implementing the smart ways to reduce the overall efforts by means of test automation and increasing the productivity across multiple projects for a specific customer.Required Skills:Good communication skills, both written and oral.Leadership skills.Good Testing and Debugging skills.Team player but able to work independently and remotely.Proactive and self motivated.Good logical and analytical skills with the ability to understand the technical proposals agreed with customer and hence define a smart testing strategy for the delivery team.Good presentations skill.Good documentation and reporting skills.Competent user of the Microsoft suite of Office applications including Microsoft Visio and Project.Knowledge of the broadcast industry with respect to workflow, operation, and technologies.Required Experience:Technical and/or Engineering background: Engineering Degree with major in Electronics or Telecommunication required.Overall 15+ years of experience with at least a 3-4 of years of testing strategy development, testing optimization and test automationGood understanding of automation framework including PythonGood track record of delivery to tier-1 customers/operatorsGood understanding of DVB/MPEG standardsDesirable to have experience of OTT and Android TV solutionsGood understanding of Agile methodologyWhat you can expect from us:Our people and culture are the heart of our business, and our values of Trust, Accountability, Agility and Innovation inform what we do, and how we work.
