As a System Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Partner with Business and lead System transitions, understand business needs and liaise with various DD&IT teams in exploring solutions.
  • Maintain, monitor, and support a portfolio of NNI (stakeholders in North America) and HQ Systems. Act as a delegate System Manager where relevant.
  • Serve as Incident and Problem Manager, Change Manager
  • Ensure the delivery of system and services meets business requirements.
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day execution of incident and problem management resolution.
  • Monitor and improve the effectiveness of System Management. Demonstrate pro-activeness and ownership in managing systems.
  • Manage time planning and deliverables effectively. Foster a good team spirit and high degree of knowledge sharing. Conduct regular meetings with vendors and ensure KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with Quality docs. Manage Change, Release, and Configuration Management. Support high availability and performance of systems. Produce system-specific reports with corrective actions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
Need to have:
  • Master\'s degree or bachelor\'s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience.
  • Overall 8+ years of IT experience. 6+ years of relevant experience in managing IT systems and services. Experience with strong understanding of IT system architecture and day-to-day business operations.
  • Experienced in ITIL processes, must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, problem solving, infrastructure understanding and lead problem solving arising from IT infrastructure (network, security, access controls etc.)
  • Experience in handling/managing end-to-end systems/applications, incident, problem, change expertise.
  • Hands on experience of system or service maintenance processes, compliance requirements, and vendor management.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, work ethics, and proactiveness
  • Ability to swiftly comprehend business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
