As a Systems Engineer, you will work in a team environment to monitor the health and wellness of endpoint and server devices on our partner's client infrastructure. You will engage with a fast-paced global leader in IT Security Services, providing support to our vast partner base amid an ever-changing technology landscape. The Systems Engineer is responsible for managing multiple technologies including Windows Server OS, Windows Workstation OS, SQL Database, Endpoint Management (Anti-Virus), Active Directory, FTP, DNS, Web Server, and Linux OS. Role Summary: The Systems Engineer is responsible for managing multiple technologies including Microsoft 365, VMWare ESXi, multi-cloud environments (AWS and Oracle), on-premise hardware servers, Ubuntu Linux environments, and various other technologies.The engineer will be the primary point of contact for partners and their customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our production environment, and adhering to ITIL processes for patch management and change control. The engineer will be the primary point of contact for Partners and their customers.Skills/Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in Systems Engineering / Windows Administration / Systems Administration.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft 365 administration.
  • VMWare ESXi virtual environments.
  • AWS and Oracle cloud platforms.
  • On-premise hardware servers, RAID controller configuration, and maintenance.
  • Ubuntu Linux deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Cloudflare WAF, load balancers, and DNS.
  • Windows Server OS (2012/2016/2019/2022) and Windows Workstation OS.
  • Endpoint Management such as Sophos Central (added advantage).
  • Active Directory setup and administration.
  • Backup management and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Proficiency in managing backup solutions and implementing disaster recovery plans.
  • Experience with server maintenance and monitoring.
  • Strong scripting skills, particularly in shell scripting.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing endpoints and servers.
  • Ability to learn, grasp, and understand new technologies quickly.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work within a high-performance team.
  • Effective tracking and task reporting skills. Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and monitoring of the IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365, VMWare ESXi, AWS, and Oracle cloud environments.
  • Administer and maintain on-premise hardware servers and RAID controllers.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Ubuntu Linux environments.
  • Manage Windows Server and Workstation operating systems.
  • Configure and maintain server scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Perform periodic health checks of systems, troubleshoot problems, and implement rectification measures.
  • Create and run shell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and manage backup solutions to safeguard data.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Administer Active Directory and manage user accounts.
  • Manage and support the desktop environment, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Monitor network security, configure Cloudflare WAF, load balancers, and DNS.
  • Provide phone support and support through remote assistance software.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Utilize a ticketing system and standard operating procedures for effective call processing and escalation.
  • Provide operational support during different working hours, whenever necessary
Desirable Criteria & Qualification
  • Desirable certifications include MTA, MCSA, MCSE or similar.
  • Experience with Australia, UK or US customers is highly desirable.
