Title: System Administrator

Overview:
As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's computer systems, networks, servers, and software applications. You will ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and security patches.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to ensure data integrity and security.
• Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to help them troubleshoot issues and use IT resources effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in system administration and cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a system administrator or a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux/Unix), network protocols, and hardware components.
• Strong knowledge of system security principles and best practices.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
