Job Description

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and applications.

Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to systems.

Monitor system performance and ensure uptime and availability.

Network Administration:

Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Manage VPNs, DNS, and DHCP configurations.

Implement and manage security measures to protect IT systems from threats.

Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.

Maintain and monitor firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.

Develop and implement backup strategies for critical data and systems.

Test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity during emergencies.

Respond to and resolve incidents of data loss or corruption.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users.

Onboard new employees by configuring their devices and user accounts.

Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and user guides.

Monitor resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage) and optimize performance.

Plan and implement system upgrades or capacity expansions as needed.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.

Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and other metrics.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and trends in system administration.

Pursue certifications and training to improve skills and expertise
