JOB DESCRIPTION RPC Engineer POSITION: Instrumentation Proposal Engineer Location Pune QUALIFICATIONS: BE /B.Tech ME, M. Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputed institute. Candidates with Diploma (Instrumentation) orM Sc (Instrumentation) can also apply. Selection will be done on merit and relevant experience. EXPERIENCE: 2 \' 4 years in core instrumentation with Process Industry, EPC Companies or OEM companies. Candidates working with reputed instrumentation manufacturers with experience in making proposals of instruments and post order activities. JOB PROFILE: Develop Techno-commercial proposals for field instrumentation and manage complete execution of Project Orders for Rosemount business. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Rosemount products Select suitable instruments based on the RFQ and detail specifications Design instrumentation solutions based on the applications Provide Support to Emerson Sales Offices for efficient and effective Project Execution Prepare post order documentation. The position will be responsible for cleaning the documents, resolving the customer comments and timely submission. Attend internal project execution meetings to understand customer requirements and act accordingly. Procuring buyouts and co-ordination with the vendors Responsibility of meeting the project schedule Maintain log of key metrics for projects and proposal TECHNICAL SKILLS: Clear understanding of basic working principles of Pressure, Temperature, DP Flow and Level meters, Radar Type Level meters, Flame and Gas monitoring Systems Familiarity with installation and calibration of instruments Familiarity with the Instrument Data Sheets and Specifications, International Standards for Hazardous, Flammable Areas, Ingress Protection Codes Selection of suitable instrument types and models based on the customer specifications Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel and Power Point with ease. Familiarity with MS Projects will be an added advantage. Candidates with knowledge of documentation related to the post order activities will be preferred. SOFT SKILLS (Korn Ferry): Strong verbal and written communication skills in technical environment Team player willing to perform any duties to provide exceptional services to exceed customer expectations Ability to coach, guide the fellow team members.
