If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.Job Title System Engineering Advisor IJob Posting Title: Systems Engineering - Sr Professional IIWhat does a successful Systems Engineering - Sr Professional II do at Fiserv ?Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS, GCP solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training, when necessary, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.What will you do:Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have at least 7 - 10 years relevant experience and display a proficiency in many of the following:Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems on AWS and GCPDevelop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.Create self-provisioning infrastructure using tools like Puppet, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes in the Cloud EnvironmentDefine key metrics and SLAs around new web services being created to support our rapid traffic growth.Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.At the direction of lead architects, develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS and GCP applications, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for AWS, GCP solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training, when necessary, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.Responding to live operational support and escalation (including on-call) as requiredCreate self-provisioning infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, and Docker in the Cloud EnvironmentWhat will you need to know:Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or in a relevant fieldYou will have 7+ years with cloud environments and provisioning automation particularly in AWS and GCPProven work experience as a Cloud EngineerAWS, and GCP certifications preferred.What would be great to have:Deep understanding of common scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Bash).Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment.Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts.We welcome and encourage diversity in our workforce.
