BE/ BTech/ ME/ Mtech in Electronics (& Telecommunication)/ Instrumentation (& Control)/ Electrical from reputed institute. Post graduate qualification in system engineering would be a plus. Job profile: The selected candidate shall decompose the top level system functions, behaviours and features into a set of functional software requirements that specify the end to end system behaviour and capture these into a formal document after ensuring the adequacy of the requirements He/she shall analyze and evaluate software requirements to ensure that they are technically feasible, cost-effective, and meet the needs of the customer Therefore, he/ she shall formulate a concept of operations the narrative that provides a unifying vision of the vehicle workflows and translate the product vision into a set of high level requirements inclusive of the operational design domain functions, performance requirements and features In doing so, the system engineer shall communicate with all stakeholders, document any intermediate decisions and maintain clear development pipelines while overseeing compliance wrt the development process He/ she shall also perform regular reviews in partnership with other stakeholders to update dashboards so that upper managements has visibility into progress of project Thus, he/ she shall partner with other stakeholders in designing early and smaller integration milestones as building blocks while the functions evolve into developing incremental system capabilities Therefore, the role includes soliciting requirements from various stakeholders, generate software requirement documents and diagnostic specification, and managing the software development work-flow in collaboration with other stakeholders. While managing the development workflow, the system engineer shall enforce design discipline and compliance with applicable standards through periodic assessments. The system engineer shall also define scope of gate reviews and conduct these to communicate major results and decisions, verification strategy and gauge SOP readiness. Vehicle network design and planning for creating the communication matrix for the vehicle. Exposure to decomposing high level requirements into product features and software compositions. Overall understanding of CAN. Ability to interpret network traffic logs and draw operational inferences to suggest requirement changes. System level understanding of vehicle operation to arrive at fault trees. Usage of fault trees to identify high level diagnostic requirements for faults and corresponding measurement parameters. Formulation of vehicle specific End Of Line requirements based on vehicle functions. Exposure to embedded software SDLC, starting from concept development and creation of requirements and project plans. Adept at usage of MS Excel with VBA scripts. Familiarity with software configuration management tools (SVN/GIT), defect tracking tools, and peer review
