Purpose of the Job Responsible for designing the various Telecom sub-systems (specially Networking / FOTS/DTS etc ) for Urban/Mainline projects based on the project requirements. The position needs to understand customer requirements and project context. Participate in the design workshops with customer and work towards getting approval as per the project key milestones. Day to day responsibilities include preparation of Design documents, Interacting with vendors for various for given Telecom sub-system. Working closely with all stakeholders like PrEM , other SSLs, Interface Manager , Civil contractors. Etc. Apart from Project activity, it is required to support for Baseline development activity.

• Accurate and On Time Reporting
• QCD is as per WP commitment

Job Specifications:

• Designing of FOTS/DTS system
• Support for UNEB (Native Ethernet Backbone) baseline activities
• Participating in technical workshop with customer
• Supervising and supporting T&C team
• Interface with OEMs
• Close design documents with customers

What do I need to qualify for this job? Required Experience/Skills

• Minimum 3 to 4 years relevant experience in rail Telecom domain or IT/Telecom industry as independent contributor.
• Experience in designing the various Telecom sub-systems to meet customer\'s design , operational and functional requirements.
• Should have experience and knowledge of developing various interfaces of Telecom with other systems like SIG , Rolling stock etc.
• Systems Thinking mindset / acumen.

• Aptitude to understand customer requirements and translating it to Architecture & Design documents to meet the project deadlines with minimum iterations.
