Good knowledge on Client Data Center products (Nexus 9000, Nexus 2000, Nexus 5000)
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF), Redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP); Knowledge of Client routing/switching including Client IOS, IOS-XE, XR and NX-OS
Hands on and troubleshooting Nexus Network
Knowledge on various DC Architecture (DC-DR, Azure & AWS cloud etc.)
SD-WAN (Silver Peak product experience will be an advantage)
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Wireless implementation. Experience in Aruba wireless and wireless controller experience will be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of the principles of operation and configuration of LAN/WAN services: Switching, Routing, Network security, IPsec, VPN, DMVPN, DHCP, LOGGING, SNMP, RADIUS, VLAN (802.1q)
Flexible to work in 24/7 support environment.
At least 10 years of hands-on experience in support/implementation of networks.
Skills Preferred:
Client router/switching/security certification, at minimum CCNP
Experience working in an (partially) outsourced environment
Service Management processes (Support Models, Service Level Management)
