System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and computer systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Perform regular system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure compliance with security policies.
Hardware Management
• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual hardware. (E.g. CCTV)
• Perform hardware upgrades and repairs as needed.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper functioning of hardware components.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, and support.
Software Management
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
• Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
• Provide technical support for software-related issues and user inquiries.
• Implement and manage security measures, including antivirus and anti-malware solutions.
Network Administration
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Security and Compliance
• Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Manage VPN and remote access solutions to support remote work and branch offices.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard IT assets.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Respond to security incidents and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and IT operations.
• Provide regular updates to management on IT infrastructure status and project progress.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Collaboration and Support
• Work closely with other IT team members to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users to enhance their productivity.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives to support business objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in system administration.
