Responsible to administer the operations of computer systems related to UNIX & Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization and Cloud technologies.


What will your job look like?

• You will be responsible to build and maintain web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise.
• You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
• You will need to leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems and Implement and maintains a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure.
• You will build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure.
• You will also be expected to evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems.
• You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and prevention processes to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure CSAT (Customer Satisfaction).

Description


We are looking for a System administrator to manage & maintain the Microsoft Windows infrastructure including large VMware and Hardware environment spread across the globe. Having 5-7 years' experience in managing similar infrastructure.


Responsibilities


• Monitor and manage VMware infrastructure Environment across region.
• Manage and troubleshooting machine on cloud Environment on multiple Platform AWS, GCP, Azure
• Manage Physical Server, enclosure, and more component across region.
• Ensure lifecycle management of different services including periodic upgrades, review of HA and DRP for services, Risk mitigations.
• Collaborate and work effectively with other IT Groups in delivering required solutions.
• Ensure frequent, concise communication with the Manager, regarding relevant issues related to the team, infrastructure technologies, risks, or other information as required
• Use critical thinking and project management discipline, tools, and techniques in the day-to-day execution of responsibilities and in resource and workload planning
• Ensure team adherence to standard IS practices/policies



MUST require following knowledge.


• Proven hands-on in VMware virtualization, ESXI, vCenter 5-7 years of experience from the last position.
• 5-7 years of experience on hardware administration - physical Servers, Enclosure from the last position
• Knowledge in managing Cloud Machine on platform- GCP, Azure, AWS
• Experience of building automated scripts using PowerShell.
• Basic knowledge of storage and networking.
• 5-7 years of experience of managing Windows Server and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of working with DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPO, AD, Cert.
• English at a high level of speaking and writing.

Will be added advantage


• Basic knowledge of VMware component NSX, VRealize suite -VRA, VROPS, loginsihgt..
• Basic knowledge of HCI System Simplivity, Vxrail, Vsan
• Basic knowledge of Managing Server/enclosure form one portal (OneView, OME)
• Working in large environment over 3000 users and 5000 servers.
• Ability to handle production problems efficiently.
