About RoleA System Administrator oversees the maintenance, security, and smooth operation of company intranets and computer systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.:
- Setting Up and Managing Users:
- Creating user accounts and granting access to the intranet.
- Managing permissions for different roles within the organization.
- Ensuring file servers are operational and accessible.
- Managing file storage and access permissions.
- Operating and configuring the organization\xe2\x80\x99s firewall.
- Monitoring and securing network traffic.
- Implementing and maintaining the latest security protocols.
- Regularly monitoring the local area network (LAN) for threats or errors.
- Responding to employee concerns related to computer systems.
- Providing technical support and guidance to users.
- Monitoring the internet connection for security risks.
- Identifying and addressing network issues.
- Preparing program documentation and procedures. .
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Mac systems.
- Application Management: Experience with upgrading, installing, and configuring software and hardware.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Security Awareness: Understanding of security protocols and regular security testing.
- Familiarity with network management and monitoring.
- User Support: Providing technical assistance to users.
