Job Title - Lead Quality Engineer

The Purpose of this Role



The Individual we are seeking to hire is a Lead Quality Engineer with a developer mindset with hands-on programming skills in java and python and other test automation tools & frameworks. The candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end product quality of Financial Crimes Compliance programs in a multi-year transformation program. This individual is expected to work directly with Tech Leads and developers and quality engineers across our team, as well as other technical and business stakeholders across the organization in a fast-paced agile environment.



The Value You Deliver



Owning the end-to-end Quality of APIs and SpringBoot & Kafka based application components that are both internally and externally facing supporting SaaS and on-prem vendor integration.



Engaging peer technology groups in other Business Units for coordinated testing and any development work.

level support to transaction and customer screening products.



Interested in and understanding the Financial Crimes space and understand how the internal IT Applications are connected and thus able to contribute to the product vision and in its execution.



Interested in the software development and willing to contribute to the engineering aspects of the SDLC.



The Skills that are key to this role



Technical skills



You effectively address functional and non-functional, quality goals of systems during design & development & testing.



You are self-starting in Identifying business critical gaps and discrepancies & actively propose test plan & test strategy on how to ensure product and application quality.



You are hands-on in most of the following skills:

Java, Python, RESTful API, JUnit5, Mockito, Test Automation Tools Karate, Selenium, Rest Assured.



Exposed to and is aware of Cloud Computing,



Docker, Kubernetes, Dev Ops, CICD basics



Solid understanding of SDLC Lifecycle and Test Methodologies.



Test Automation & Development:

Design, develop and maintain automated tests using frameworks and tools to ensure reliability and scalability of our applications.



Software testing:

Develop and execute manual and automated test cases focusing on functional and regression testing.
