Must be able to coordinate and manage input from business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise and be responsible for the design and execution of large-scale technology initiatives.The role is a self-organized Software Engineer Senior Consultant c xwith solid UI, JavaScript/TypeScript, Flutter development experience. In this position, you are first and foremost a passionate and talented developer that can work in a dynamic environment as a member of Agile Scrum teams. Your strong technical leadership, problem solving abilities, coding, testing, and debugging skills is just a start. You must be dedicated to filling product backlog and delivering production-ready code in three-to-five-week sprints. You must be willing to go beyond the routine and prepared to do a little bit of everything.This position is based in Bangalore, India, and will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.Key Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Engage in technical design of solution that is based on use cases and business requirements.\xc2\xb7 Complete proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs, and solutions\xc2\xb7 Engages dev leads and architects (both enterprise and domain) to ensure that overall Enterprise Architecture is inclusive of all stakeholder viewpoints and are vetted to ensure that artifacts support, reflects, advances, and integrates as intended.\xc2\xb7 Ensures inclusion of Visa\'s business vision, current business environment (internally and externally) and technology and industry trends to enable results that drive Visa\'s business.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications\xc2\xb7 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor\'s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work
experience.Preferred Qualifications\xc2\xb7 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD\xc2\xb7 BS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or other related fields with a minimum of 8 years of experience UI, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS and Flutter development -OR-\xc2\xb7 MS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or other related fields with a minimum of 5 years of experience UI, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS and Flutter development.\xc2\xb7 Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS and NodeJS technologies.\xc2\xb7 Experience in web and mobile performance tuning and optimization.\xc2\xb7 Strong foundation in JavaScript features like Closures, Currying, Promises and ES6 features.\xc2\xb7 Experience using linting, prettier, git hooks frameworks.\xc2\xb7 Solid foundation in writing unit testing (Mocha, chai, Jest, .) and integration testing frameworks\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of OWASP secure coding practices\xc2\xb7 Design, develop, and maintain web applications across all stages of the development lifecycle.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and efficient web and mobile applications.\xc2\xb7 Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.\xc2\xb7 Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are utilizing optimal technology stacks.\xc2\xb7 Deep understanding of cryptography features like encryption, decryption, JWE, JWS, etc.\xc2\xb7 Preferred experience in cross mobile platform technology Flutter and WebViews.\xc2\xb7 Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for mobile platform.\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL and No SQL.\xc2\xb7 Preferred Experience in payments integration and / or online ecommerce shopping and / or Payment gateways.\xc2\xb7 Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to respond resourcefully to new demands, priorities, and challenges.\xc2\xb7 Strong dedication to test automation and Test-Driven Development\xc2\xb7 Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills.\xc2\xb7 Ability to convey development concepts related to network, application, and systems - to both technical and non-technical audiences.\xc2\xb7 Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work and have fun in a team environment.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
