Job Description

Reporting to: Driveline Manager

: The candidate will be responsible for the development and validation of control logics and Software for the AG (Small) Driveline . The candidate will be responsible to develop software to support PowershiftS/HILO transmissions , deliver integrated software modules according to system specifications, software structure and validation plans up to implementation in line with functional requirements.

Required :

\xc2\xa7 Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering Degree, Agricultural (Farm machinery) Engineering

\xc2\xa7 Specific experience on ANSI C

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of programming C(++) code, and structured software programming

\xc2\xa7 Software Engineering experience on microcontrollers

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of Matlab , Simulink and latest software development methods and approaches

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of Model Based Control design Engineering

\xc2\xa7 Understands Virtual prototyping / MIL / SIL / HIL principles

\xc2\xa7 Experience in the specification and design of embedded software for powertrains or electro-hydraulic systems as used in the AG or CE applications.

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge on Model Based control design and simulations, control algorithms design and tuning

\xc2\xa7 Problem Solving experience applied to SW

\xc2\xa7 Is able to work under minimal supervision, but has the ability to recognize issues that need to be escalated . Can handle several projects at the same time.

\xc2\xa7 Ability to work with tight deadline and under pressure

\xc2\xa7 Ability to work transversally within the Driveline Electronic Team

\xc2\xa7 Good communication skills to interface with international teams (EU or NA)

\xc2\xa7 Good attitude at analyzing and consolidating information

\xc2\xa7 Languages : Fluent English written and spoken

Preferred :

\xc2\xa7 Experience in the field of tractor SW, controls or related systems.

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of ElectroHydraulic systems applied to AG products

\xc2\xa7 Experience on CAN based systems and CAN TOOLS.

\xc2\xa7 Is aware of state-of-the-art technologies related to the EE competency domain

Responsibilities

\xc2\xa7 SW structure analysis of existing applications and apply it to new products (small drivelines)

\xc2\xa7 Implementation of given requirements into SW components using C (or Model Based design technique)

\xc2\xa7 Support the definition of the embedded SW architecture on different platforms (mainly Semipowershift/HiLo transmissions)

\xc2\xa7 Integration of SW changes and official releases productions following formal process

\xc2\xa7 Reviews progress of projects and provides frequent team progress updates to direct manager
