Develop and implement a framework for safety risk management to enable the Area leadership to make informed decisions
Drive the safety first culture in the assigned area
Operational
Responsible for defining, reviewing and updating providing guidelines and necessary technical support to ensure that DICV Safety (EHS) standards, standards are implemented and periodically monitor the progress
Ensure compliance with all applicable legislations pertaining to Safety, Health and Environment across the organization
Drive effective safety risk assessment and recommend mitigation initiatives and controls
Conduct periodic meetings with stakeholders to discuss area specific issues, safety awareness improvement programs and overall safety function performance
Investigate and analyzes the incidents/ accidents and monitor the implementation of the corrective actions
Design and implement safety training programs on assigned initiatives for all employees of area
Implement the safety communication strategy in assigned area to ensure effective dissemination of information with respect to implementation of EHS norms, EHS issues, corrective measures taken etc. to internal and external stakeholders
Conduct Safety internal observations and audits, mock drills facilitate internal audits and initiate appropriate actions, improvements as per the recommendations.
Ensure effective performance of Hazard Identification and Risk management work plan
Work as a catalyst for Change Management process and closely work with Project and Maintenance team to ensure safe execution of Change
Closely work with colleagues for implementation of Corporate / Country level EHS initiatives
Responsible for driving and implementing Country level initiatives across the designated area with the support of cross functional team
Participate organization level discussion forum as when required and update the performance
Plan safety promotional activities to create safety consciousness and improve awareness.
