Our clients include high-profile utility companies, local authorities and independent businesses.Due to expanding workload in the United Kingdom, APAC, US and the Middle East, we have an excellent career development opportunity for an enthusiastic Drainage /Civil engineer to join our Infrastructure Drainage and Utilities Group in our Global Technology Centre (GTC) in, India (Bangalore and Gurgaon offices).AtkinsR\xc3\xa9alis are currently seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team based in India. Working under the guidance of our Senior Sustainability Consultants, you will be collaborating with our existing Sustainability team based globally to deliver building on your sustainability technical knowledge. The consultant will provide technical support leadership on projects (Site and Office based consultancy work) within the Sustainable Design group and have proven skills and a depth of experience in delivering sustainable solutions for Buildings and Communities.The position requires a motivated self-starter with a technical background to support projects, liaise with clients and develop original innovative approaches to respond to sustainability challenges. The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering LEED accredited or other certification projects and have a strong understanding of building systems and performance.The Role:

  • As part of our established team of multi-disciplinary engineers, and working closely with colleagues across multiple offices, you will analyse, report, model and document sustainability projects and present to clients with the aim of expanding the sustainability project portfolio.
  • You will perform sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation (such as energy and daylight modelling, etc.), manage green building certification, develop strategies for water conservation, consider green materials, transportation, support on energy audits, and other related duties.
Responsibilities for this position:
  • Advising clients on green building technology and ratings systems, primarily the Estidama, WELL and LEED ratings and tools.
  • Develop sustainability frameworks and strategies for multiple scales of projects, during the master planning and building design stages.
  • Tracking rating system and building strategy processes, writing and editing reports, and presenting LEED or sustainability frameworks to clients, design teams, and contractors.
  • Demonstrate research experience, as this job will likely demand both directed and individual research into architectural materials and technology, building services systems, green building and urban policy, and social and human comfort issues.
  • Develop presentation material for reports, presentation and plans.
  • Sketching and digital illustrations of building concepts may be expected in order to visualize design strategies for client presentations and other external needs.

Required:
  • Holds a bachelors degree in urban design, Architecture, Building Science, Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience with LEED v4 and Estidama PRCS rating systems during design and construction stages.
  • Have 2-4 years of relevant work experience post-graduation, in a similar consultancy role with a proven track record.
  • Is LEED AP accredited.
