We are a dynamic and rapidly growing tours and travel company, Need82, dedicated to offering bespoke travel solutions to our clients. Our online platform,mypackage.in, serves as a one-stop destination for booking vacation packages, flight bookings, hotels, and travel itineraries. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Surveyor to enhance our digital presence, drive B2B expansion, and explore opportunities to improve our competitive edge within the travel industry.

Job Summary:

As a Surveyor at Need82, you will play a key role in boosting the visibility and online presence of our website mypackage.in . You will be responsible for performing in-depth market research, evaluating competitors (Eg.platforms like Goibibo, MakeMyTrip, etc.), conducting search engine optimization (SEO) analysis, and developing strategies to expand our B2B business.

Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy & Website Optimization :
• Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and keyword research for mypackage.in.
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
• Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor and report on SEO metrics and progress toward key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Optimize website content, structure, and user experience to ensure improved SEO rankings and better conversion rates.
• Market Research & Competitor Analysis :
• Continuously research and analyze competitors, particularly leading travel websites such as Goibibo, MakeMyTrip, and other online travel agencies (OTAs).
• Monitor competitor pricing strategies, marketing tactics, and customer reviews to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Conduct surveys and gather feedback from customers to understand their preferences, behavior, and pain points.
• Expansion of B2B Business :
• Develop and implement strategies to expand our B2B partnerships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and other potential business partners.
• Identify new B2B business opportunities and establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Business Development team to create targeted campaigns and solutions tailored to the needs of corporate clients and travel agents.
• Drive strategies to increase B2B sales and customer retention by delivering exceptional service and value.
• Reporting & Analytics :
• Provide regular reports on the performance of SEO efforts, including traffic, ranking, conversion rates, and other key metrics.
• Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for enhancing website performance and improving user experience.
• Track the effectiveness of B2B campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to meet business goals.
• Collaboration & Communication :
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content, sales, marketing, and development to ensure alignment on business objectives and strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on ongoing initiatives and campaign performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Travel & Tourism, or related field.
• Experience : Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
• SEO Knowledge : Strong understanding of SEO best practices, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and strategies for website optimization and digital marketing.
• Market Research Skills : Experience in conducting competitor analysis and customer surveys.
• B2B Sales & Business Development : Proven experience in B2B business development, ideally in the travel or hospitality sector.
• Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive & Results-Driven : A self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Travel Websites : Familiarity with travel portals such as Goibibo, MakeMyTrip, and other OTAs.
• Content Marketing : Experience in writing or optimizing SEO-friendly content.
• Digital Marketing Knowledge : Understanding of digital marketing channels such as PPC, social media, and email marketing.
• Technical Skills : Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website management tools is a plus.
