Job Description

The Surveillance Camera Monitor is responsible for overseeing and monitoring live and recorded video feeds from surveillance cameras across industrial sites. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and safety of the premises, detecting suspicious activities, and reporting incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities. Key Responsibilities:

• Real-Time Monitoring:
• Continuously observe live video feeds from surveillance cameras to detect any unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or safety hazards.
• Pay special attention to high-risk areas, including entry/exit points, storage facilities, and critical infrastructure.
• Incident Detection & Reporting:
• Identify and report any security breaches, accidents, or unusual occurrences immediately to the security team or site management.
• Document all incidents, noting the time, location, and nature of the event, and compile detailed reports.
• System Operation:
• Ensure all cameras are functioning properly and report any malfunctions or technical issues to the IT or maintenance department.
• Compliance & Confidentiality:
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to surveillance and data privacy.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding surveillance operations and footage, sharing information only with authorized personnel.
• Safety Protocols:
• Monitor for compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and alert the necessary personnel if violations are observed.
• Participate in regular safety and security training sessions.
• Coordination with Security Teams:
• Work closely with on-site security personnel to ensure cohesive and effective security coverage.
• Provide real-time communication to security teams during emergencies or suspicious activities.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in security monitoring, surveillance, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial site operations is an advantage.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using surveillance systems, video playback software, and related technology.
• Other Requirements:
• Must be able to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on multiple screens.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and view multiple screens for prolonged periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,987.23 - ?24,555.60 per month
