Missions and Purpose of this position Responsible within VT PUR (Purchasing PM/NPM & SQM) for SupplyOn All activities are for the complete VT PUR organizsation worldwide incl. cluster, BU and plants/regions (approx. 1000 employees, all 3 PM cluster plus NPM CI&ES, all 3 BU\'s, 37 locations) Several topics needs to be aligned with internal departments (e.g. IT, Legal) as well as external companys (e.g. SupplyOn) incl. involvement of suppliers (approx. 1900 for PM). The tasks are realized indepently within the strategic targets of VT PUR. Final results are discussed with the supervisor and if needed, support for management decisions is given. Topics within the responsiblity of the SupplyOn Manager are: cooperate with national and international colleagues on various hierarchy level for areas with interfaces concerning SupplyOn (e.g. IT, Legal) conception of necessary PUR & SQM specific trainings incl. creation, organization and realization of trainings based on the business requirements for global purchasing communicate and inform the VT PUR community via all available COM channels considering VT branding requirements as well as communication towards all suppliers for relevant SupplyOn issues implement and enhance SupplyOn (internet plattform to collaborate with the app. 1900 PM+CI&ES suppliers from external company SupplyOn) as business managed application incl. all necessary user support managing the access rights for SupplyOn report of relevant process indicators to ensure that the ww departments are able to steer their business according the overall SupplyOn targets Operational responsibility (owner) of some SupplyOn modules (depending on team needs) - enhenacements, projects, testing, implementations, etc. Lead/guidance of several international colleagues as well as coordination and coaching of them for all SupplyOn related tasks and responsibilities (app. 5 employees within PMT in min. 3 locations) Organization and Magnitude VT PUR Purchasing Volume, app. 4 Bil. Euro for PM and 1 Bil. Euro for NPM for app. 1000 employees worldwide especially the PM PVO of 4 Bil Euro is strongly influenced and supported by SupplyOn SupplyOn Budget for the complete platform incl. service enhancement of app. 1,2 Mio Euro is managed by the SupplyOn Manager Responsibility on VT PUR level (for all BU\'s and all locations ww) and towards the suppliers with the goal to contribute to the VT results and the strategic targets for VT PUR like APR and Incident reduction by driving all SupplyOn activities Due to the overall responsibility for all services of the SupplyOn platfrom, the tasks and the competencies/experiences are also very divers The SupplyOn Manager needs to adapt the platform to the actual business situations and market changes (e.g. sustainability requirements). Therefore deep knowledge on the international market trends is necessary. SupplyOn (collaboration platform with app. 1900 suppliers) is a business managed application and the SupplyOn Manager is responsible for all activities towards SupplyOn (all service modules). From strategy meetings with management (internal PUR and external SO) to user support on several hierarchical levels, the full range of actions are realized Deep knowhow in the tool is essential to enhance the application (e.g., maintenance of templates and system data), but also to support and solve the tickets from all end users Collaboration with suppliers to convince them to use the platform, to introduce new services and inform about news are needed Beside the supplier collaboration, the SupplyOn Manager acts as interface from VT towards SupplyOn and all internal departments which are concerned by SupplyOn (e.g., IT, PUR AP/CM, SQM) Realization and support on trainings for the complete VT PUR organization is essential Development and enhancement of the different SupplyOn services (together with SupplyOn), incl. all backend integrations of the systems. Deep knowledge in IT/market trends and/or legal requirements is needed. Starting with gathering of the requirements out of the organization and followed up with realization with SupplyOn, testing, rollout and implementation of the different plattform modules or enhancements are part of the position Guidance and coaching of the PMT colleagues taking care for the different SupplyOn modules and reporting on PMT level the overall ongoing SupplyOn activities Qualification and Experience: academic degree and several years of professional experience deep knowledge in different areas e.g. SupplyOn platform, IT topics, training of the purchasing community and coach/guide the teams technical knowhow for different products, manufacturing processes and related costs knowledge of different PUR processes and PLC, incl. PUR&SQM tools coordination and moderation of international teams with differnt knowledge and hierarchical levels power of persuasion and assertiveness good communication skills intercultural capabilities for divers teams ww leadership capability to lead and support the team, incl. taking ownership and entrepreneurial mind-set Fluent English is mandatory Degree of innovation: \'Development and enhancement of the different services of the existing and used SupplyOn platform on broadly defined organizational targets of the associated business process For alternative supplier collaboration platforms in the future, focus on benchmarking with other platforms needs to be driven by the SupplyOn manager. Newest technologies with the target of high quality and most cost-efficient solutions needs to be considered. Interfaces / Contacts Continually and worldwide VT PUR internal alignment on all management levels, alignment with all interfaces (e.g. IT) and negotiation (starting from requirement definition to final decision) with potential internal and/or external solution partners (e.g. SupplyOn, VT suppliers) Therefore, worldwide communication, collaboration and also training is realized by the SupplyOn Manager Leadership Responsibility: \'- functional lead and guidance of several international colleagues as well as coordination and coaching of them for all SupplyOn related tasks and responsibilities (no disciplinary lead, more in direction of a project lead) app. 5 employees within PMT in 3 locations/countries (GER/RBG, Rumania/IAS, Mexico) the services of the SupplyOn platform are very divers and collaboration with internal (e.g., IT) as well as external (e.g., SupplyOn and suppliers) interfaces requires high level of knowhow in addition, functional lead of worldwide project teams with different level of knowhow and different hierarchy level with direct cooperation and guidance/coaching of the relevant employees for the SupplyOn activities
