DescriptionYour responsibilities:Support category managers and factory supply chain managers with supplier qualification process through evaluating the supplier qualification assessment forms and recommending the appropriate qualification level.Ensure the supply base is and remains fully qualified and compliant through regular monitoring and the reporting of the qualification status.Drive sustainability and onboard suppliers in EcoVadis.Plan and conduct the required supplier on-site audits including the assessment reporting (with qualification decision), corrective action plan alignment with the suppliers.Participate in the SSDP (Supplier Sustainability Development Program) assessments.Conduct regular status update meetings with the suppliers and confirm the closure of corrective action plan items by the suppliers within the defined resolution time frame.Perform and document PPAP for new supplier developments.Visualize the successfully completed PPAP\xe2\x80\x99s at the global/regional level to all the whole SCM and Quality community to avoid duplication of efforts.Lead non-conformity resolution process with the suppliers in case of the escalated technical issues from the factories and ensure the effective root-cause analysis and the countermeasure implementation by the suppliers.Monitor and consolidate the supplier delivery and quality KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, the critical non-conformities escalated from the factories.Share supplier performance KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and the critical supplier list regularly with the HUB SCM and the Category Managers.Lead supplier performance improvement actions for the targeted suppliers to meet the customer and the Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s factories\xe2\x80\x99 expectations (following DMAIC, A3 and/or 8D methodology).Monitor and ensure the supplier performance data, the supplier quality costs and the claims are reported according to PG/PGTR guidelines and instructions.Implement company supply quality procedures within the assigned responsibility area.Living Hitachi Energy\xe2\x80\x99s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in one of the disciplines: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or production engineering.5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing quality assurance.Experience from transformer or automotive industry is a plus.Proven skills in auditing and part qualification processes.Knowledge in manufacturing of electrical steel, cores, conductors, insulation kits, insulation boards, bushings, tap changers and other transformer accessories.Good understanding in ISO standards, UN\xc2\xb4s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, EcoVadis, REACH, RoHS, FMEA, PPAP and Conflict Minerals.Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
