This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.We are a team of Supply Chain professionals in India who support the Program Management / Operational activities at suppliers for all three business units of Boeing closely collaborating with PA. Commodities include, but are not limited to: Structures, Standards, Machined/sheet metal parts. This position requires a highly motivated professional to work through the supply chain and operations process and manage post award activities.Position Responsibilities:Responsibilities Include leading the following activities:Develop Technical Assessment for commodities by understanding manufacturing process and identify gaps at suppliers based on technical inputsParticipate in technical audits to identify and onboard suppliersExperience in supplier capability assessment, gap analysis and ability to drive supplier development initiatives, coaching and mentoring of suppliers. Shall have proven track record of technical issue resolution, yield improvement, root cause analysis etc\xe2\x80\xa6Able to analyze key factors and identify and assess supplier risks for respective SOW.Form collaborative partnership with suppliers and Supplier Management to develop risk, issue and opportunity plans. Develops supplier recovery plans to support unplanned demand requirementsEvaluate information for the development and deployment of supplier management and communication plans.Consolidate data and prepare written reports and presentations in support of supplier capability and ability to perform the SOWUnderstanding of Statistical Process Capability, Process automation, IoT / Digital manufacturing techniques etc\xe2\x80\xa6would be added advantageLiaise with cross functional team (Engineering, Quality, Tooling etc\xe2\x80\xa6) during FAI & production stage to resolve engineering queries and meet project scheduleProblem-solving skills with the ability to identify, quantify and utilize information to make recommendations that support business goal.Experience in leading process excellence effort like APQP, Kizen, 8D, 3X5 Analysis, A3\xe2\x80\xa6etcAbility to train cross functional team and suppliers on process improvements toolSpecific Requirements:Hands on experience in Aircraft parts manufacturing like machining, sheet metal parts fabrication, managing / qualifying special processes etc\xe2\x80\xa6would be preferredExperience in aerospace complex Structural Assembly & Tooling (Assembly Jigs & Fixtures) will be an added advantageExperience in NADCAP QPL & QML will be preferred.Hands on experience in destructive and non-destructive testing and metrology (including CMM & Laser Tracker), strong understanding of GD&T will be preferredKey Skills:Project managementRisk managementSupplier ManagementManufacturing Operations & Technical supportTechnical competence:Detailed Supplier KnowledgeEngineering Knowledge/ComprehensionProcurement ProcessesSupplier ManagementSupplier Tech ManagementEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Strong Oral and Written communicationAerospace backgroundMicrosoft officePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Program managementOperationsTypical Education & Experience:Technical Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Aerospace and typically 10 ore more years\' related work experience or a Master\'s degree with typically 8 or more years or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
