Supply Chain Manager As a Senior Manager Purchase, you will be responsible for sourcing raw material, goods and services, managing vendors, vendor development and logistics. Candidate should be technically strong and have excellent negotiation capabilities. The candidate should be able to independently communicate with vendors and ensure good vendor relations. Candidate should be a good team player. Roles and Responsibilities Work closely with Planning and Execution Dept for timely procurement & logistics activities to support production and sales. Work closely with quality and stores to always ensure right quality material and stock quantities. Should be strong in vendor negotiations. Maintain high level of vendor relations with reliable suppliers. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Monitor quality, quantity, and timing of deliveries. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power Track, measure and analyze purchase expenditures Keep a constant check on stock levels Produce MIS reports and statistics on procurement and logistics Desired Candidate Profile Graduate with relevant experience of 15 years Good computer skills including ERP & MIS Hands on experience in budgeting, sourcing, negotiating and purchasing management, should be able to deliver in the targeted period. Excellent in communication both written and verbal with great interpersonal and leadership skills Outstanding organizational and time management skills Should be a Go Getter The candidate should have multitasking skills.
