Job Title : Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process for interior design projects, from procurement of materials to delivery and installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality of materials and products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Procurement and Sourcing:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and products required for interior design projects.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and prices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply and quality of materials.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials and products.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with the design and project teams to forecast material requirements and plan orders accordingly.

Logistics and Distribution:

• Oversee the logistics and distribution of materials and products to various project sites.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
• Manage transportation and warehousing of materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular quality checks on materials and products to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Address any issues related to defective or substandard materials with suppliers.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and logistics operations.
• Monitor and report on supply chain costs and identify areas for cost reduction.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all supply chain activities.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Qualification:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
