About Client:Our client is manufacturing Fuel Injection Equipment for Cars, Sports Utility and Multi Utility Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles, Tractors, Single & Two Cylinder engines. It is the largest automotive supplier in the world and The company has a track record of sustained growth since it was set up.Location: Oragadam, ChennaiExperience: 15 - 20 Years (20 - 28 Years for Diploma)Roles & Responsibility:

• Manage Purchase activity with large suppliers.
• Maintain Supplier PPM within the Target.
• Familiar with APQP process for New Products.
• Lead in strategic Sourcing of major commodities (Plastics, Rubber, Forging, Casting + Machined parts, Fasteners, Proprietary parts).
• Lead in Strategic sourcing for the company
• Various Costing methods for the above commodities & tracking Price indices.
• Productivity enhancement ways in Procurement.
• Lead in taking Control measures for Inventory.
• Ability to meet material cost within the target.
• Implementation of 7 steps in VAVE.
• Should have exposure to various Manufacturing processes including Heat Treatment and Surface
• Ability to finalize the Process for manufacturing

• Should have worked in Senior Role in Materials/ Purchase function in Auto sector Tier 1 or OE
• Proven track record of managing a team Goal
• Proven record of SAP exposure
• Managing 4M Change management for OE customer in Sub Tier Partners.
• Well versed with Supplier Database across India
• Localization of Parts for Precision products
• Exposure in Supply chain Pull system
• Supplier Capacity Management
