SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYSTDescriptionKey Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support across various functional areas.
  • Utilize common processes, tools, and information systems for thorough supply chain analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all analytics and reports.
  • Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement areas and create actionable plans.
  • Participate in Six Sigma and supply chain improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage existing business systems for reliable analytics and reporting.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders across different functions.
  • Process and monitor supplier orders to ensure alignment with supply plans.
  • Adjust procurement signals and expedite as necessary to meet supply chain needs.
  • Conduct metrics analysis and reporting using tools like Xelus and GOMS.

  • Effective Communication: Develop and deliver clear communications tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Results-Driven: Achieve consistent results even under challenging circumstances.

  • Complexity Management: Understand and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve work processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Materials Planning System Utilization: Manage supply and demand plans, utilizing tools like Excel, Access, TOAD, OMS, etc., for problem-solving.
  • Plan for Every Part (PFEP): Ensure smooth operations by planning and managing systems to deliver the right parts at the right time.
  • Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels using analytics and develop strategies aligned with Cummins\' goals.
  • Materials KPI Management: Analyze performance against targets and strategize improvements.
  • Analytical Troubleshooting: Present planning data to troubleshoot and support decision-making.
  • Valuing Differences: Recognize and appreciate diverse perspectives and cultures.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
  • Potential requirement for licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
  • Entry-level to intermediate experience.
  • At least one internship or similar experience in a supply chain role.
Work Schedule:
  • This position supports the US time zone and requires working the Night Shift (5 PM to 2 AM IST).
  • Night Shift allowance and transportation facilities are provided within PMC & PCMC areas.
