Job Summary
Cummins is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Global Position Profiles team. This role involves using analytical methods to analyze and improve supply chain processes. The Supply Chain Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize supply chain operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze performance metrics to identify supply chain improvement opportunities.
• Utilize materials planning systems and adhoc tools for data analysis and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet supply plan objectives.
• Generate reports and metrics analysis using tools such as Xelus and GOMS.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize planning system signals.
• Manage materials planning parameters to balance supply and demand effectively.
• Support master data management and ensure data integrity in planning systems.
• Contribute to Six Sigma and supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Work evening shifts (5 pm to 2 am IST) as required by the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or related field.
• Previous internship or equivalent work experience in a supply chain role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, Access, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and regions.
• Ability to manage complexity and drive results in a global environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management and materials planning systems.
