Good understanding of Powerplant commodities like Turbine Rotor, Guide Blade Carrier, Turbine Casing, ESV, etc. Good understanding of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specification. Quality clearance of mechanical commodities (mainly machining) based on witness and quality records review. Should be able to prepare and approve Quality Assurance Plan. Should be able to identify supplier process gaps and drive improvements Ensure Critical To Quality (CTQ) dimensions for mechanical commodities. Ensure On Time Inspection of the components at supplier end. Be a part of site complaints and lesson learnt team and implement the measures in product before dispatch. Lead supplier non-conformity and Root Cause Analyses Maintain a healthy working environment. Participate in lean and digitization initiatives. Qualification UG Qualification B.Tech/B.E - Computers PG Qualification Any Post Graduate - Any Specialization Doctorate Doctorate Not Required - None Desired Candidate Profile The incumbent must have min 07+ years of experience in Steam Turbine manufacturing, assembly and machining processes. Must have good knowledge on precision measurement , metrology , read , understand and interpret engineering drawings of Steam Turbines. Must have a quality mindset to analyse problem technically and provide optimum solution. Must have a sound knowledge on GD T and assembly fits Must have Good application knowledge of quality tools e,g 8D, A3, 5 why, CAPA. Must have understanding of ISO standard and must be certified internal auditor for ISO 9001:2015. Having a matured mindset in dealing with cross functional team and change mindset. Must be excellent in communication skills. Basic know how about EHS is a must. Good working knowledge in MS tools I,e Excel, Power Point, and projects.
